3: Pointing Device
Laptops come usually with their own built in pointing device, there a 2 types: A touch sensitive pad is fairly common, some models also come with tiny button positioned in the center on the keyboard.
Although neither is as accurate as a regular mouse, they are adequate to tackle most windows tasks. A traditional mouse can also be connected into a laptop, via the PS2 mouse port
