Acer Aspire One 532H-2DB Laptop Review
The Acer Aspire One 532H-2DB packs the next generation of netbook processor, the Intel Atom N450, handles multitasking easily whether it be using email, blog, chat and surfing the web all at the same time and best of all delivers up to 15% better performance than previous-generation processors. More importantly a single charge will ensure the notebook lasts a huge 8 hours. However, as we’ve found out it’s more realistic to assume the notebook will last a maximum of 6 hours.
The LED display presents crips, clear imagery in true 16:9 scale which is perfect for streaming videos and online activities which is made easy by the large-capacity hard disk, 250GB, saves tons of music, videos and any of your files with ease. Whilst the 5-in-1 card reader enables convenient transfer of photos from a digital camera or other mobile device, the Aspire One 532H-2DB, as the others in the 532H-2DB range, features two built-in stereo speakers and has an optional 3G capability.
The Aspire One 532H-2DB is packed with a Crystal Eye 0.3 megapixel webcam and built in digital microphone making keeping in touch with friends and family that extra bit easier.
The Aspire One 523H-2DB is the size of a small folder, at a precise 258.5 x 185 x 25.2 mm, yet the keyboard is still 93% standard size with large keys for easier and better typing. The multi-gesture touchpad gives you total control over your documents and photos however it is slightly to sensitive causing you to carry out the wrong action when unwanted. Nonetheless, the touchpad has a nice feel and offers anti-slip microbead texture.
The Netbook 532H-2DB netbook is ultra-portable and packs innovation, style and power as well as Windows 7. If you want a netbook that is light as a feather and yet still have a robust, scratch-resistant casing that weighs little over 1kg, as well as being sleek and slim then the Acer Aspire One 532-2DB, or any of the Acer Aspire One 532 series, need to be taken into consideration.
