Advent Verona Laptop Review
Our rating
5.0
When it comes to running day-to-day computing tasks and yet being able to enjoy your multimedia collection, you can rest assured the Advent Verona SU will always deliver the goods for under £350. Beneath its attractive shell lies the dual-core Intel Celeron 743 and the fantastic Windows 7 Home Premium pre-installed.
Price: £349.99
Cheapest at: Currys
The Good
The Verona is certainly attractive, bearing in mind it is less than £350 and is slender and lightweight as well, as previously mentioned, incredibly cheap for what it is.
The Bad
The Intel Celeron SU2300 processor underneath the Verona chassis causes the notebook to be under-powered and the keyboard is woobly, weak and what you would expect for under £350.
What you need to know
Even though the notebook is under £350 it is still cheap in feel even if not in looks. The keyboard is certainly woobly but besides that Windows 7 partly compromises the weak processor that lurks underneath. Overall a laptop better associated with day to day Office-type tasks.
