Apple Macbook Air Review
The Macbook Air: the words just drive people crazy. Why? Well because it's one of the thinnest and beautiful looking laptop/notebooks.
At its thickest it's 0.76 inches - yeah I know it's not that thick. But at it's thinnest it's 0.16 inches. Now you realize why 0.76 inches sounds big. Not does it just look amazing it is also surprisingly sturdy.
Well that's where the good stuff ends. I know it is a bit of a let down but so what it looks amazing.
Normally when you buy a Laptop/Macbook you expect to have a replaceable battery. If you're on the move and can't get to a plug socket you normally like to have a spare battery just in case. Well this Macbook thought differently, this Macbook doesn't have a replaceable battery. What a let down.
It doesn't stop there. The Macbook Air also has limited connectivity which can be quite a pain. Along with not having a replaceable battery and having limited connectivity but is also quite slow. Seeing that it is the latest in the Macbook range and it is quite an expensive Macbook you don't expect it to be a slow coach. Unfortunately though it is - this is a major let down.
Overall i do admit it is an amazing looking Macbook but that is only at the expense of stripping it down to the bare bones. The bare bones of not having a replaceable battery. The bare bones of it being a bit slow and the bare bone of it having limited connectivity.
This Macbook is going to appeal to a smaller audience. An audience that will pick looks over performance.
For that reason, Laptops.co.uk gives it 3 stars out of 5.
