Toshiba Qosimo X300-14u Laptop Review
The QOSMIO X300 is a recent release from Toshiba specifically designed with the gamer in mind, it is jam-packed full of the latest audio and graphics technologies.
Powered by the Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor QX9300 one of the most powerful processers going, it comes with NVIDA graphics technology making it possible to play games easily and to an amazing quality. In addition to this there are an impressive five speaker Harman Kardon sound system to complete the gaming experience.
Possibly following in the footsteps of the Alienwear brand with their whacky ‘look at me’ designs and funky features, the new X300 comes in a striking and fiery design with a sleek and curvaceous finish.
At the high end of the price range, this laptop has all the desired features any gamer could ask for and would be seriously worth considering.
The laptop also comes with a high-definition ATi graphics card providing even better performance for use with ever application from gaming, video editing and digital photography. On top of this there is a built in duel-layer DVD rewriter which can be used to store, edit and view all your multimedia documents which you can even save to CDs and DVDs.
The only slight downside to this laptop is its weight, it is slightly on the heavy side so may not be this best option if ultra-portability is on your list of 'must have' requirements. Also bearing in mind the price of this laptop the battery life is reported at a maximum of 2.5 hours which is again by comparison to other laptops in this price range rather limited.
