A new range of
laptops has been launched by
Toshiba in the US called
wireless n ready laptops .
Toshiba’s
Satellite A205 is equipped with a Wireless
Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN technology from Intel and comes with a pre-installed
webcam .
The Satellite A205 features Labelflash, a facility that enables users to burn
images and text onto special Labelflash
DVD -R
discs .
Furthermore, the
laptop has two serial-ATA hard disk drives3 that provides huge
storage capacity of 280 GB. This provides increased optimal storage capacity and increases functionality of the laptop and can also be found on the Satellite A205-S4639 models. The laptop is equipped with NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics4 card for crisp and vivid clarity of
digital media which also increases the performance and
battery life of the system. For added security these models come with a fingerprint reader. These machines are likely to retail for $1,549.00
The
company is also offering a value-packed Satellite A205-S4577 with 160 GB hard disk drive for just under $1,000.
It also offers fingerprint reading technology in Satellite A205-S4617.
Moreover the company has also come up new models that have Intel’s new Wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN supporting draft 802.11n1 wireless connectivity.
Toshiba revealed they will soon be launching their fist laptop under £1,000, the Satellite P205 with a 17 inch screen.
