New Upgrades from Apple

Apple has released three new upgraded versions of their Mac laptops, two 15.4 inches MacBook, and 17 inches MacBook.

The 15 inch model now has a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors, which previously had a 2.16GHz chip. The 17 inch model now has a 2.4GHz processor that has been upgraded from 2.33GHz. The new MacBooks come with Intel’s Centrino (Santa Rosa) chips.

Furthermore, these MacBooks can be upgraded from 2GB to 4GB RAM at an extra cost. They now come with a pre-installed faster Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT graphics card .

The 15-inch models also have an energy-efficiency boost, with LED-backlit displays; Apple has touted these not only as power-saving but also mercury-free .

The company also released new versions of a cheaper MacBook, that come with memory upgrades. They have Intel’s Core 2 Duo processors and not Centrino (Santa Rosa) chips.

The company has announced that it will come up with other new products that will soon hit the US market first and then Europe .
