Both Carphone Warehouse and PC World has announced a new offer as part of a link up with phone network provider 3. Customers who sign up to an 18 month Mobile Broadband subscription from 3 will receive either a free or discounted laptop immediately. Those signing up to a tariff through PC World have a choice of more than ten laptops, some of which are free, others of which are heavily discounted. Carphone Warehouse customers, however, are entitled to a free Dell Inspiron 1520 laptop when signing up to the tariff.
The tariff in question costs £35 a month, whilst the discount that comes with the offer is valued at £350. The tariff entitles customers to a 3 gigabyte download allowance each month, with a 10p charge per megabyte thereafter. Additionally, customers have 200 texts as part of the deal each month that can be sent from their laptop.
