Toshiba has unveiled its latest additions to its Qosmio laptop range which it claims to be the most powerful laptops they have made to date. The manufacturer has unveiled the Qosmio F50, G50 and X300, which should be available to buy by the third quarter of 2008. A specific price remains unknown, with Toshiba instead commenting that pricing will depend on the laptops specifications.
The F50 and G50 laptops run on Toshibas Quad Core HD Processor, which is based on cell architecture enabling improved video editing and high definition upscaling of DVDs . The F50 will have a 15.4 inch screen, compared with the G50s 18.4 inch screen, whilst both models have hard drives of up to 640GB and memory expandable to 8GB. Both laptops have an integrated webcam which uses Toshibas new Gesture Control technology allowing users to make commands through the use of hand movements.
The Qosmio X300, meanwhile, comes with dual hard drives, Intel Core2 Duo Extreme CPUs, and in a bid to appeal to the gaming market, has GDDR3 SLI graphics. All three new laptops have Nvidias latest GeForce graphics processor units.
