Toshiba has targeted growth in the Philippines as they look to increase their share of the
laptop market. Toshiba have announced they aim to double its share of the Philippine laptop market as they look to broaden their global audience. With their current share of the market standing at 8 per cent, the
computer manufacturer are to launch a series of stylish
notebooks in a bid to entice more customers.
The Satellite and Portégé
notebook ranges will target young professionals and students, boasting feather touch multimedia buttons, a flushed touch pad and a white LED lighted notebook logo, as well as a high gloss Fusion finish on some models. The higher end models also come with the latest
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor . The notebooks also have SmartFace technology enabling users to take a snapshot of their face to create a unique password.
Screen sized vary from 13.3 inches to 15.4 inches, whilst the
laptops come with a multitude of features designed to enhance
video and
audio performance.
