Gateway have unveiled their new TC Series of
notebooks . The reasonably priced
laptops will retail from $649.99 and possess similar features and the same design as their MC and MD Series. The lightweight laptops weigh as little as 5.3 pounds, despite boasting an integrated 1.3 megapixel
webcam, three USB 2.0 ports and 802.11b/g Draft-N
wireless internet . The laptops are available either in burgundy or black.
The TC
notebook series is designed to be one of Gateway’s mainstream consumer products, offering plenty of entertainment features. The laptops come with a 14 inch ‘Ultrabright HD’ 1366x768 widescreen display offering an entertainment ready 16:9 aspect ratio. Additionally, the notebooks come equipped with a 5 in 1 media card reader, supporting SD, MMC, MS, MS Pro and xD. There is a one touch access feature to digital media content, as well as to frequently used entertainment programs with the notebook’s Illuminated Multimedia Touch Controls.
The TC series notebooks are powered by an
Intel Premium Dual-Core Mobile T4200 processor.
Gateway plan to offer updated versions of the laptops in the future with
HDMI outputs and a
Blu-ray player inbuilt.
