HP Expand Mini Laptop Range

June 08, 2009

Hewlett Packard has expanded its Mini series of notebooks with three new lightweight companion PCs . The Mini 110XP and Mini 1101 Mobile Internet (Mi) laptops target those who use their computers mainly for internet related activities, whilst the Mini 110 is designed with small and medium size business customers in mind, especially those travelling frequently.

Both models have a 10.1 inch diagonal standard widescreen display, though there is an optional high-definition LED display. Each laptop has a built in webcam and microphone, whilst the keyboard is only slightly smaller on those of a standard notebook, yet the PC is still small enough to be portable.

Both laptops come with hard drives of up to 250 gigabytes, whilst all models support solid-state drive options. The built-in VGA port allows for connections to external monitors, whilst a 5 in 1 digital media input allows users to transfer files from a number of memory formats. The machines come with either an Intel Atom processor N270 with 1.6GHz or an Intel Atom processor N280 with 1.66GHz.

The Mini 110XP is available in a choice of colours with a selection of black swirl, chic pink or white swirl finished, whilst the Mini 1101 has a black swirl design.
