Hewlett Packard has revealed its new ProBook
notebook series. There are five
laptops within the series, each of which offers a high-definition display. The
portable computers are being marketed as well designed and multimedia orientated. The
PCs are said to be inspired by minimalism in an attempt to provide a stylish look. The
notebooks are available with three screen sizes: 14 inch, 15.6 inch and 17.3 inch.
There are a number of options at each screen size level, with a choice between an AMD or an
Intel processor. The laptops come with
HDMI ports and
Wi-Fi connectivity, though Bluetooth is an optional extra. The laptops have integrated optional drives, and the choice of either ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 or Intel GMAZ4500 HD integrated graphics controller, whilst
Blu-ray is an optional extra. The top of the range 17.3 inch model is fitted with an Intel Core 2 Duo
processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 graphics controller with up to 512MB of GDDR 2 video
memory .
Hewlett Packard claim that the slightly elevated keyboard will ensure that less dirt and dust will get stuck between the keys.
