Mobile phone operator 3 has unveiled its newest
mobile broadband deals, just weeks after rival operator T-mobile decided to ditch the
mobile broadband offers in favour of
Christmas gift bundles. 3 is now offering consumers a free
Samsung N130
laptop when they sign up to a two year
broadband deal worth £20 per month. With a download limit of 1GB per month, the deal is suited to light
internet users. A contract option is also available for heavier internet users, givers users a 15GB download limit for £15 per month over 24 months.
3 are also offering consumers a chance to get a free Samsung R720, which has been given high praise by the technology media. The
notebook doesn’t come cheap, however, with a monthly fee of £40 a month charged with a 15GB download limit.
All of Samsung’s new deals give
broadband connection speeds of up to 3MB, subject to network reception and location. In addition to remote internet access on their
PC, 3 also provide a free
dongle .
Last month saw 3 launch its Mi-Fi mobile
broadband offering, becoming the first broadband supplier in the UK to offer such a product.
