Fans of the
MacBook Pro will be pleased to hear that
Apple is planning on releasing a refreshed lineup of its popular top-end
laptops this week.
Rumors of revamped
MacBook Pros have been growing for weeks, with some bloggers predicting an early-March ship date for Apple's latest portable machines.
Latest reports say the new range will launch later on February 24, the birthday of Apple co-founder and CEO, Steve Jobs. They also state that five different models will be released, with each shaving off around 225 grams compared to the current line-up.
Apple is not giving much given away regarding specification, but the refreshed laptops are expected to feature Intel's new
Sandy Bridge processors and Light Peak connection technology, as well as larger glass trackpads, making for easier swipes and multi-touch gesturing.
