The new Precision M6600
laptop from
Dell has arrived in the UK earlier than expected, and is now available for sale at the company’s UK outlet.
According to the Dell website, the M6600
mobile workstation laptop is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Core i7-2910XM processor together with 16GB of DDR3 RAM, and packs a 17.3-inch multi-touch LED-backlit screen with stylus functionality.
It also comes with
NVIDIA Quadro 4000M graphics, up to 32GB memory,
Bluetooth 3.0, built-in high quality speakers, 2
USB 3.0 ports and a HDMI output, the choice of two
hard drives and a SmartCard reader.
This impressive piece of
hardware comes at a price however, with prices starting from £1,349, excluding shipping and VAT, for the base model and rising to £2,079 for the advanced spec.
