Fans of LG’s Blade Series
laptops will be happy to hear that the
electronics giant has added two new machines to the popular range.
The 14-inch
LG P430 and the 15.6-inch LG P530 are a pair of
ultra-portable and powerful laptops that both make use of Super Slim LED LCD displays as well as Intel’s new
Sandy Bridge processors.
The P430’s display is super-thin at just 4.5mm while the P530 has a fractionally thicker 4.7mm display. Both are also super-light, weighing just 1.94kg (P430) and 2.2kg (P530), making them a lot slimmer and lighter than most other
notebooks in their class.
Furthermore, LG has included metal casing for extra durability and added a brushed aluminium finish to each.
Each model comes with the choice of Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 processors,
Nvidia GeForce GT520M or
Intel HD 3000 graphics, plus
Bluetooth 3.0+HS, a 1.3MP
webcam, a
DVD SuperMulti drive, HDMI-out, HD Audio and up to 8GB of memory.
UK customers will be able to get their hands on the LG P430 at the end of this month while the P530 is scheduled to go sale towards the end of June. Prices for both laptops have yet to be released.
