The Fujitsu Amilo PI3560 is one of the budget laptops from Fujitsu that includes a 15.6inch screen and a dedicated graphics card in the form of a Nvidia GeForce GT 240M.
Furthermore, it has a rather attractive design that includes a premium high-gloss material finish and patterned palm rest. Furthermore, the incorporate keyboard is spill proof of up to 50ml and thus protects the laptop from accidental spills. However, we would still recommend an immediate shut down, remove the charger and clean up before restarting.
Furthermore, for a laptop that is around £550 it also incorporates Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and Wireless Lan 802.11bgn. In addition, there are also 2 USB ports, a 5-in-1 card reader, an ExpressCard slot, an eSata port, a headphone jack and a microphone jack as well including a 1.3megapixel integrated webcam perfect for video calls.
The laptop itself is rather sturdy and has a better build quality than most low-end budget laptops. An added feature that is rather useful is that even if the laptops cooling system fails the hot air can exit from both the rear and left side of the laptop ensuring that you can still use it without it overheating.
The worse part of this laptop is the screen it has very narrow viewing angles, pale colours and lower than average contrast. If we compare other laptops of a similar price such as the Dell Studio 15 that incorporates a full HD screen we can see that the Amilo PI3650 isn't the best of laptops when it comes to screen quality.
If you're looking for a moderately priced all-round, home computing laptop this may not necessarily be the best of the bunch primarily due to its poor screen quality especially when compared to the excellent full HD Dell Studio 15.
