Trip Advisor complains to the European Commission about Google


The holiday review site Trip Advisor are one of the latest firms to join the swelling ranks of companies that are complaining to the European Comission about Google.

Trip Advisor are not the only travel firm, Expedia and 11 others, have accussed Google of abusing its dominant position. As a result, the European Comission is investigating such a matter.

The decision whether or not to formally charge Google will be taken over Easter. However, Google are denying all claims of unfair practices.

Trip Advisor are hoping that the commission will prompt corrective action to ensure a healthy and competitive online einvornment.
