E-Readers

An e-reader is a gadget that downloads and displays books, in an easy and more compact form. The most famous of the e-readers is Amazon’s Kindle line.

E-readers revolutionised the way that people read. Books can be bulky, and taking them out and about, or on holiday, can be difficult and inconvenient, an issue that e-readers sidestep using technology.

Furthermore, the advent of the e-reader has made reading less expensive, and downloading books is cheaper and does not incur the production costs that publishing a physical book does.
