Gigabyte launches new P2742G gaming laptop

Gigabyte’s newest gaming laptop could be the first choice for individuals looking for a high-quality display and speed without breaking the bank.

The P2742G model from the Taiwanese computer manufacturer boasts a 17.3-inch, full high-definition screen with Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M GPU graphics, all for the price of less than £1,000. Indeed, gamers will relish the heightened visual experience created by the graphics processor, that also has 2GB of dedicated random access memory.

It comes with the Windows 8 operating system, an i7 processor and uses hybrid storage tech, which means it can hold up to 2TB of data if necessary. Users will notice the improved speed performance of the the P2742G, which supports Raid 0 technology.

Other features include a Blu-ray combo drive, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, an Ethernet port and it also has a split colour design, so it can either have a black base and orange top or have an all-black look.
