Dell Inspiron 3520 offers value for money

As one of the cheapest Windows 8 laptops on the market, Dell’s Inspiron 3520 could be the ideal model for consumers looking for quality on a budget.

Even though the computer boasts a huge hard drive of 500MB, it is retailing at just £255 on eBay – where it is £24 cheaper than at Dell itself – which includes free delivery and 255 Nectar points, IT Pro Portal reports.

The laptop has a number of other high-spec features, such as 4GB of random access memory and a 15-inch, 1,366 by 768 TruLife display that is powered by an Intel HD Graphics 3000 solution.

It also has an island-style keyboard, VGA and HDMI ports, a dual-core Intel Celeron B820 processor, three USB ports and a high definition webcam, while its battery can last as long as six hours and 20 minutes.

Weighing just over 2.4kg, the laptop is a tad heavier than some of the Ultrabooks on the market, but it is twice as thick at 34.5mm.

This comes after Dell introduced its new line of Inspiron models at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas at the beginning of the month.
