Apple’s iPad Mini, Google’s Nexus 7 and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 2 have been named as among the top ten tablets by the Telegraph.
According to the news provider, the iPad was the best device on the market from the moment it launched and the Mini edition finds the ideal balance between portability and ease of use.
Boasting a 7.9-inch screen and weighing just 308g, the gadget is great to carry around and its features are second to none – it comes with a 1GHz dual-core processor and can be purchased with 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
Meanwhile, the Nexus 7 was praised for having the open Android operating system and offering value for money at £159. Consumers can also benefit from permanent connectivity through the new 3G option that’s been rolled out.
As for the Galaxy Note 2 – a smartphone-tablet hybrid – its appeal comes from the fact it is accompanied by unique S-Pen technology and a superfast 1.6GHz quad-core processor.
Other devices singled out by the Telegraph as some of the best included the Microsoft Surface tablet, the Kindle Fire HD and the Asus Transformer Prime.
