Lenovo announces ThinkPad S431 laptop

Lenovo has unveiled a new Windows 8 laptop designed to appeal to small businesses.
The ThinkPad S431 boasts a stylish appearance and an optional touchscreen display, plus it comes with a processor that is 15 per cent faster than the model found with previous generations.
As a result, the company said it is perfect for professionals looking for a device that offers both elegance and substance and is great for work tasks as well as personal computing.
Jerry Paradise, executive director of Think Business Group, said the progressive design behind the laptop will help firms to impress their customers.
He continued: “The ThinkPad S431 offers an intuitive Windows 8 experience with the power needed to accelerate productivity.”
Other features of the model include up to 8GB of memory and 500GB of storage, two USB 3.0 ports for speedy data transfer, a six-row backlit keyboard that comes with Windows 8-optimised shortcut keys and a flashy 14-inch LCD screen.
The new laptop follows the ThinkPad T431, which was unveiled by Lenovo in mid-March and offers users a sleek trackpad and an extra slim frame.
