HTC has launched its most expensive smartphone in India; the HTC One Max.
The smartphone, which is currently available in the UK, has a 5.9-inch screen and weighs just over 200 g. It has fingerprint scanning technology, which also featured on Apple’s new iPhone 5s. Users can assign certain fingers to certain applications for ease of access.
The HTC One Max comes with an average price tag of Rs 56,490 (£556), which is the most expensive iteration of HTC smartphones so far. The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 1.7 GHz quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM.
It comes with Android 4.3 and either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage and boasts a four megapixel HTC UltraPixel camera and a 3,300 mAh battery, which gives up to 25 hours of talk time.
HTC has also launched some accessories with the One Max, including the Fetch. The Fetch can be paired to the phone through Bluetooth and will alert you whenever you leave your phone behind somewhere. Pricing for the Fetch starts at Rs 2,399 (£24).
