Introduction

The idea is simplicity. With over 650,000 individual feedbacks to Microsoft about Office 2010, you’d have expected them to do a good job – and they have. Released on May 12, and available in BETA for what seems like eons, Office 2010 doesn’t get too many gripes from us.

Interface

One of the most impressive features we found was Background Removal. Quite simply, it lets you remove the background from images you are using in your documents in seconds.

Conclusion

Office 2010 is no doubt the leader in home and office document creation. With Google Documents and OpenOffice free to download (and featuring the ability to save your documents to the cloud as well as your PC or laptop); you quickly realise how the guys that develop Microsoft Office will always have to be on top of their game to ensure that consumers don’t wander off into the cloud.
