In 2011 LG tried to enter the tablet market with the release of the Optimus Pad. However, their plan failed miserably and Apple’s iPad remained the champion tablet.
However, thanks to a Greek technology blog, techblog.gr, it has been discovered LG have developed a new tablet which includes an 8.3inch display with full HD. This alone is not headline worthy surely? The Nexus 7 supports full HD.
The LG G Pad is rumoured to be thin and lightweight, again not that impressive. However, what is rather impressive and the biggest selling point of the LG G Pad is the fact that it is large enough, or even small enough to fit neatly in your back pocket. The LG G Pad is reported to include a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
The device will most probably be announced at the IFA conference in Berlin next month.
