Apple MacBook Pro described as most reliable laptop

Apple’s MacBook Pro is deemed to be the most reliable Windows laptop, according to a new report.
PC management services firm Soluto has published its rundown of the best performing computers and the 13-inch Apple device, which was released in mid-2012, topped the list.
This is after the company collected information about 150,000 models in January this year and studied each laptop looking for crashes, blue screens and other major problems.
Soluto explained the Macbook Pro may have been named the winner due to the fact “every Windows installation on it is clean” and it has “an amazing trackpad unparalleled by any PC”.
It said while it may be the most expensive PC among the top three devices, it is ideal for anyone who is looking for top reliability, adding: “The data is clear.”
Behind the Apple model was Acer’s Aspire E1-571 laptop in second place and the Dell XPS13 in third, while bottom of the top ten list was Lenovo’s Thinkpad X1 Carbon.
In the US, one authorised reseller has cut the price of the entry-level Macbook Pro with retina display by $200 (£130) to $1,299.
