Apple has been identified as the most reliable laptop brand, beating off competition from Dell, Asus and HP.
Readers of PC Advisor voted Apple top of the tree through the PC Advisor Laptop Reliability Poll, which was conducted over a two-week period in January and included the opinions of 5,833 users.
Coming away with 19 per cent of the vote, Apple was a markedly more popular answer than Dell, HP and Asus, which claimed 12 per cent, 11 per cent and 11 per cent of the votes respectively.
The publication explained that while Apple computers may not be the cheapest on the market, the experience they offer is of a superior quality, adding the high placing for Dell suggests the brand has been successful in ensuring good levels of customer satisfaction.
Other brands to feature on the list included Acer, Lenovo and Toshiba, each of which earned nine per cent of the vote, while Samsung garnered seven per cent.
Six per cent of the votes were allocated to Sony and three per cent to Alienware, while Fujitsu, MSI and Panasonic each accounted for one per cent.
