Lenovo’s hotly-anticipated Miix hybrid laptop and tablet will be available in the UK this August.
However, prices are relatively steep and the device will set back consumers around £450.
The Miix is a 10.1 inch convertible tablet that can change into a laptop whenever a user wants more precision when typing – with word processing one of the more important features in recent hybrid releases.
A resolution of 1366×768 is supported by the unit, which is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom processor and Lenovo has also announced that the UK market will have access to the Ideapad S400 Touch – as well a number of other tablets from the same range.
Hybrids are becoming increasingly popular among consumers who value flexibility in their devices – as the screen can be rotated and detached in a number of different ways.
All of the latest Lenovo tablets will come equipped with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system, which has so far suffered from poor sales.
