Acer releases Aspire R7

Acer has released its latest notebook – the Aspire R7 – in the US.
The 15.6-inch notebook comes with an award winning moveable screen that allows the device to be put into four different positions.
Ezel mode lets the user to pull the display closer, floating the screen over the keyboard for times when access to typing utilities is not needed, for example, when watching a movie or reading an e-book.
Notebook mode is the default arrangement and provides full access to the Windows 8 laptop, which comes with a 1920×180 touchscreen display, an Intel Core i5 processor and 6GB of memory.
The Pad setting allows the screen to be flipped over on top of the keyboard to make the device into a tablet computer controlled by the touchscreen display.
Display mode flips the screen over backwards and is ideal for watching movies with multiple people or giving a presentation.
The Aspire R7 is currently only available in the US, but will be released this summer in the UK – retailing for £900.
