The manufacturer has unveiled the TravelMate B113, which is being promoted as an ultraportable computer that is ideal for both high school pupils and college goers, the LaptopMag blog reports.
Designed to fit into most rucksacks, the TravelMate B113 weighs 3lbs and is one-inch thick, while the seven hours of power provided by the machine’s six-cell battery may come in useful for those planning a long day of study.
The machine is available in three different versions from Acer – which is part of the Acer Group along with Gateway, Packard Bell and eMachines – but all of them come with a number of features as standard.
These include 1,366 x 768 resolution and an 11.6-inch display, while users will be able to play high-definition videos thanks to the device’s Intel HD graphics 4000 visuals.
Buyers can also make use of two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 connection, while the product boasts a webcam and Ethernet, high definition multimedia interface and video graphics array.
