Technology giant Sharp brings 90inch TV to Europe

The technology giant Sharp has revealed that it will bring the largest LED TV to go on sale in Europe. The Aquos LC-90LE757 incudes an 84inch display which requires users to sit at least 3.5m away in order to appreciate its picture.

The giant TV has been on sale in the US since June 2012 but now the company believes it is time to sell the jumbo sized TV in Europe. The giant TV weighs 64kg and is less than 5inches thick. The TV supports 1080p video rather than the ultra HD 4K format, the downside is that users have to sit further away than if the TV supported the 4k format.

However, the TV will set you back £12,000 and as a result the appeal of the TV is limited.
