New tablets unveiled by Dell

Dell has revealed details of its latest tablet range, which promises to “offer the ability to connect, share and access content with ease”.
The Venue Pro family – which the company boasts has already been described as “damned sexy” by Rob Enderle, the leading Enderle Group analyst – is made up of two ultra-thin devices.
Both designs focus on connectivity and performance, while they are also supported by processing technology delivered by Intel.
The Dell Venue 8 Pro and Venue 11 Pro models come with eight and 11-inch screens respectively and also offer keyboard and stylus options in order to meet the various needs of its clientele, who the company says are “the epitome of the evolving workforce”.
Both devices are based on Windows 8.1 and include advanced optional security extras alongside compatibility with Windows applications and integration with Microsoft Office.
Dell Venue 8 Pro also comes with a copy of Office 2013 Home &Student, while the Venue 11 Pro is supplied with a removeable battery.
Pricing for the Venue 11 Pro is listed at £349 without VAT and freight, while details for the Venue 8 Pro will be made available over the next few weeks
