If you mainly use one or two apps at a time, a lower memory option may be sufficient. If you multitask, play games or use several browser tabs and apps at once, more memory can help the tablet run more smoothly.
Some Teclast models advertise expanded or virtual memory, which uses part of the storage to support multitasking. This can help, but it is not the same as physical RAM, so check the base memory specification too.
