Surface Laptop is a traditional laptop with a fixed keyboard and screen. It is generally the better choice for people who spend a lot of time typing, working on documents, using spreadsheets or taking part in video calls.
Surface Pro is a 2-in-1 Windows device. It has a touchscreen and can be used as a tablet, while an optional detachable keyboard lets it function more like a laptop. It can be particularly useful for note-taking, reading, drawing, presentations and working in different positions.
