Lenovo has announced the release of a number of
laptops for Windows 8.
The IdeaPad S300, S400 and S405 have been introduced by the manufacturer and promise thin and light computers balancing portability and performance, Lets Go Mobile reports.
It is hoped the products will appeal to consumers in the market for a machine that offers more battery life than a normal
laptop and greater power than a notebook.
The intelligent touchpad has been designed for Windows 8 and aims to provide more control for the user, with scrolling and zooming features being updated and the AccType keyboard boasting individual rounded keys.
This means consumers should benefit from a more comfortable typing experience with fewer mistakes, while people may also be drawn to the sleek design and metallic finish of the laptops.
Measuring 21.9 mm thin and 1.8 kg in weight, the S Series from Lenovo – which has been a brand since 2004 – aim to provide simplicity and responsiveness at a cheaper price than a premium Ultrabook, with either a third generation Intel Core or AMD A-Series processor powering the machines.
