The company has listed the device on a number of product pages in different countries – but has given no indication related to price or a launch date, Cnet.com reports.
It has been included under the product category for portals in the UK, US, Germany, France and Italy, yet users have been confronted with a page stating the Surface will be “coming soon” when they click on the links.
People can use the tablet similarly to a laptop with the help of a special keyboard pad and it could soon be top of the wish list for individuals looking for the very latest mobile devices.
Microsoft has so far been secretive about release information for the gadget, meaning consumers will have to wait a little longer before learning more about when they can get their hand on the product and how much it will cost to buy.
However, it is anticipated that the Surface will arrive around the same time as Windows 8, which is being introduced on October 26th.
