Apple iPhone 5 and iPad Mini set for Autumn release

Apple have also been masters at keeping their lips closed and allowing the rumour mill create a frenzy that usually results in day long queues prior to release dates.

As expected, this is exactly what is happening with the iPhone 5, the rumour mill and leaked images of the next generation iPhone are helping to create an atmosphere of anticipation that many cannot bare.

12th September 2012, is the date on which Apple will introduce the iPhone 5 to the world. Thanks to leaked photos and samples from Apple’s supply chain the next generation iPhone, the iPhone 5, will be thinner, longer, include a larger screen and have a longer lasting battery life than its predeccesor the iPhone 4S.

In order to make the world pay attention to the release of the next generation iPhone and in true Apple style, Apple have ensured that the iPhone 5 includes a new 9-pin connector instead of the usual 30 pin connector that we have seen on every iPhone from the iPhone 3 to the iPhone 4S. Apple are setting the scene for Christmas, not only will they release their iPhone 5 in September but a smaller iPad, the iPad Mini will be released in October.
The iPad Mini is in order to compete against the likes of Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Google’s Nexus 7. The iPad Mini is expect to include a 7.5inch screen and will start with a Wi-Fi enabled 8GB model. It will be priced in order to compete with the likes of Amazon and Google.
