The company explained the lineup should make it easier for users to navigate the Microsoft operating system.
Included in the new collection are the Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650, Logitech Touch Mouse T620 and Logitech Zone Touch Mouse T400, with all products developed with Windows 8 in mind.
Mike Culver, vice-president of brand development for consumer computing platforms at Logitech, explained the new offerings have seen traditional mouse functionality updated and optimised to benefit the new Windows 8 navigating experience.
Mr Culver observed its touchpads and mice perform similar touch-screen functions to tablets and smartphones, adding: “With Windows 8 now offering up a similar touch experience, our products give you quick, easy and dynamic access to the core elements of the new interface.”
The Touchpad T650 boasts a smooth glass surface supportive of Windows 8 gestures, which enables people to perform simple functions anywhere on the screen.
A full-touch surface is provided by the Logitech Touch Mouse T620, meanwhile, which ensures more fluid navigation, with the Zone Touch Mouse T400 designed for easy vertical and horizontal scrolling.
