Logitech unveils new keyboard for multiple mobile devices

The Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 is to be made available in the US this month and will go on sale across Europe in October.
It enables users to connect numerous devices to it at the same time, including smartphones, tablets and PCs.
The benefit of this is that it allows users to switch between the different machines at the touch of a button, while it is also compatible with Windows, iOS and Android products.
An example of the advantages brought through the keyboard is the ability to navigate back to the Start screen using the item’s Windows 8 Start key, while people can flick between applications quickly and easily by making use of the App Switching function.
Mike Culver, vice-president of brand development for consumer computing platforms at Logitech – which was founded in 1981 – said: “It’s increasingly common for people to use more than one device over the course of the day and we saw an opportunity to help ease the transition among screens.”
