Toshiba Gulf has released its most recent touchscreen laptop into the Dubai market.
The 14-inch Satellite U40t, which runs Windows 8.1, features an LCD screen for vivid visuals and accurate colour reproduction. There is also a cinematic viewing experience due to the Satellite U40t’s 16:9 aspect ratio and HD display, according to Trade Arabia.
It comes with two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, an SD card slot and HDMI for multiple backup and connectivity options. The device can offer users as much as seven hours of battery life.
The general manager of Digital Products and Services at Toshiba Gulf Santosh Varghese said: “It’s only 21.1 mm at its thinnest and 1.9 kg at its lightest, so it delivers the portability required by on-the-go professionals, entrepreneurs and students.”
He added that the latest Intel processors and graphics cards provide the smooth performance that is required by editors and multimedia enthusiasts.
The Satellite U40t also has a metal chassis for increased durability and comes equipped with both Toshiba Password Utility and HDD Password Security to increase user security.
